Consent to Doing Business Electronically
In connection with the products and services offered through this Website, from time to time you will receive disclosures, notices, documents, and other information, including but not limited to your application, all insurance policy documents (if a policy is issued), claims documents, policyholder notices, and billing statements as permitted under applicable law (“Communications”) from us. The benefits of the products and services offered through this Website are available only by conducting business through the Internet, and therefore we need your consent to conduct business electronically. This section informs you of your rights when receiving such Communications electronically. As used in this section entitled “Consent to Doing Business Electronically”, “we” or “us” refers not just to Parachute, but also the Insurers and our and the Insurer’s representatives, affiliates and agents.
Scope of Consent
You agree to receive any information related to your insurance policy and all Communications in electronic format until you withdraw your consent, as described below. Your consent extends to the electronic delivery of all of Communications. You understand that your signature is legally binding, whether electronic or signed on paper. You should print or download for your records a copy of this disclosure and any other Communications that are important to you.
By providing your consent, you are also confirming that (1) you have a mobile phone, computer, tablet, or other electronic device that has access to the internet; (2) you have a valid email address; and (3) that your electronic devices have: (a) an up-to-date internet browser; (b) an email program; (c) a program that permits you to view documents in .pdf format; and (d) the capability to download and save any document or electronic Communications we may send to you. By consenting, you acknowledge that you are able to access, review and retain any electronic Communications. If we change or update any of the above requirements in the future, you will be notified via email.
It is your responsibility to provide us with true, accurate and complete e-mail address, contact, and other information related to this consent and to your account(s). If there are any changes to this information, you agree to promptly update this information either directly through your account profile or by contacting us in accordance with the Contacting Us section below.
We will not send you a paper copy of any Communications, unless you request it, we otherwise deem it appropriate to do so or we are required to by law. However, you have the right to receive a paper copy of the forms, notices and other communications described above by sending a written request by U.S. Mail at Parachute Digital Solutions, Inc. 56 Perimeter Center East, N.E., Atlanta, GA, 30346, Attn: Legal
You may withdraw your consent to receive Communications electronically and to use an electronic signature at any time. If you withdraw your consent, from that time forward (1) you will be unable to apply for products and services, including insurance products, through this Website, and (2) we will be unable to continue to process any pending applications for products and services, including insurance products. To withdraw your consent to do business electronically, please send us a written notice by U.S. Mail at Parachute Digital Solutions. Inc. 56 Perimeter Center East, N.E., Atlanta, GA, 30346, Attn: Legal
Any withdrawal of your consent to receive electronic communications will be effective only after we have a reasonable period of time to process your withdrawal. Withdrawing your consent will only affect the delivery of electronic records and will not affect the enforceability of the transaction. Any documents already provided electronically will not be re-sent unless requested.
